This anamorphic mod. has a significant difference from those that you see for sale on eBay. There, anamorphic bokeh is simulated by a non-adjustable insert in the diaphragm. Here, you can choose between a fully open aperture and an anamorphic oval.

Restored using modern lubricants. The glass is washed with Zeiss products inside and out. The ends of the glass were blackened to enhance the contrast of the lens. There are tiny cleaning marks on the front glass
