The lens units from a pre-war, uncoated, heavy-duty Biotar were carefully transplanted into a Pentax camera body in my workshop, fully preserving the optical properties of the original lens and the mechanical properties of the body. The glasses of this Biotar are washed with special Zeiss solutions. The lubricant has been completely replaced with a modern one.
