The focusing unit was made by an unknown craftsman in the Soviet era and is constructed from brass. It has a significant overrun past infinity, so the lens can be adapted to Nikon F without any issues while retaining infinity focus. The minimum focusing distance is approximately 0.6 meters.

Restored using modern lubricants. Glasses washed with Zeiss detergents. Better than new.
