This anamorphic mod. has a significant difference from those that you see for sale on eBay. There, anamorphic bokeh is simulated by a non-adjustable insert in the diaphragm. Here, you can choose between a fully open aperture and an anamorphic oval. The ends of the glass were blackened to enhance the contrast of the lens. The aperture control ring has been redesigned and now shows the correct aperture value, and not the other way around, as on all standard Helios 44-2

Restored using modern lubricants. The glass is washed with Zeiss products inside and out. Better than new
