The glasses of this Biotar are washed with special Zeiss solutions. The lubricant has been completely replaced with a modern one. Almost like new.
The mount of this lens was changed to M42 in my workshop. It has infinity focus.
To use this lens on a mirrorless camera, you will need an M42 adapter without an internal flange designed to press the aperture pin. Otherwise, the lens will not screw all the way into the adapter. See the last photo for reference.
