The lubricant in the lens has been completely replaced with a modern one. The glass was washed with Zeiss cleaners. There are cleaning marks on the front glass. There’s a separate Zeiss serial number on the rear lens group. Note that the lens mount is missing a latch. However, after testing it on several cameras, I can confidently say that the lens fits very securely even without the latch.
